This course is for beginning- and intermediate-level professionals interested in Centrifugal Compressor Operations. The emphasis for this course is on turbomachines such as turbines, compressors, expanders, motors, pumps, and generators. The intent is to understand the rotordynamics of these machines and their subcomponents to help select, analyze, troubleshoot and repair them for maximum reliability and minimum vibration problems. This is not a math-intensive course. Case histories and several workshops for hands-on evaluation of actual machines will be given.
